How payment works
You pay in two parts, and you always know what each one is for.
1. When you order, you pay 100% of the goods — the Australian price of your items plus our service fee. We use that money to buy on your behalf, so it has to be settled in full before we place the order.
2. When your parcel reaches our Australian warehouse we weigh it, and send you a shipping invoice for the real weight. Nothing is shipped until that invoice is paid.
The shipping figure shown at checkout is an estimate based on the listed weight of your items. The invoice you receive is based on the actual weight on our scales — it may be a little higher or lower.
The exchange rate is locked to your order the moment you place it, so a movement in AUD/MNT afterwards will not change what you owe.
Commission
Commission is a flat A$5.00 per order. It is charged once per cart, whether that cart holds one item or ten, and it does not change with the value of the order. It is part of the first invoice, payable at checkout.
Freight
Freight from Australia to Mongolia is charged at A$18.00 per kilogram, with a minimum of one kilogram per order.
- An order weighing under 1 kg is charged as 1 kg — A$18.00.
- An order weighing 1.3 kg is charged 1.3 x A$18.00 = A$23.40.
- Weight above the one-kilogram minimum is charged in proportion, not rounded up to the next whole kilogram.
The freight figure shown while you are shopping is an estimate, based on the listed weights of your items. The final freight cost is confirmed only after your order arrives at our Australian warehouse and is placed on our scales. We send the shipping invoice at that point, and nothing is shipped until it is paid.
Where a parcel is bulky for its weight, freight may be assessed on volumetric weight instead of actual weight. We will tell you if that applies to your order.
Products containing batteries
Lithium batteries are dangerous goods by air. They must be declared, packed to specification and handled to airline requirements, and the carrier charges for that work. A surcharge therefore applies to any item containing a lithium battery:
- Phones and small devices — A$15.00
- Tablets — A$20.00
- Laptops, vacuums, speakers and other larger cells — A$25.00
The surcharge is applied once per order, at the rate of the largest battery in it. Two phones are charged A$15.00 once, not twice. A phone and a laptop together are charged A$25.00 — the laptop rate — because a consignment is declared and handled at the level of the most restrictive item in it.
Some battery products cannot be carried by air at all, and airline rules on this change. Loose batteries and power banks are particularly restricted. If an item in your order cannot be flown we will tell you and refund it in full rather than ship it.
